Cheeseburger soup's making the rounds of the blogosphere these days so I thought I'd go one different thanks to Better Homes and Gardens. Now don't go turning your nose up at something that's got exactly 4 ingredients in it because you'd be making a big mistake.
This one's really all about the condiments and it truly is only as good as you make it. Isn't that just what a great cheeseburger's all about anyway? While I browned the beef and got the whole thing in the oven, Big Guy had the tough job and assembled the "with" platter. He did a bang up job of it too.
Sliced red onion, sweet relish, diced tomatoes, mustard, ketchup, slivers of crisp iceberg lettuce, American cheese slices... heck it's about all the stuff you'd slap on a cheeseburger minus the bacon. MMMM - shoulda' woulda' coulda'.
The results, oeey gooey beefiness with crispy fries smothered in a pile of great stuff that my Canadian countrymen would liken to a revved up poutine, and they'd be right in a way. Nothing fancy, just plain, unadulterated good grub.
Will we have it again? Maybe, but don't quote me because I won't admit it. Hit the link above for the recipe because I changed absolutely nuthin'.

Lorraine - I'm going to have to put this on the "had it once and won't again" list because another repeat and we'll have to change the door sizes in this place. Ha.
