This is what our world looks like this morning. Amazing isn't it?
The Big Guy's out clamming, and the Maxer and I just came back from a long walk on the beach and he's bugging me to go again. I've slept like a log 3 nights in a row which has got to be a record and we're feeling fit and fiesty. I also have to admit I didn't cook again yesterday.
We hit the Big Wheel Drive In for lunch and pigged out on burgers, onion rings, tater tots and a fabulous peanut butter hot fudge milkshake. Doesn't it look like a blast from the past? I mean, not only do they have great old fashioned yummy food, but happy staff too and it's about as far from a franchise kind of place as you could possibly get.
As you can imagine, last night's planned 3 coarse dinner (if you can believe that, I've got some swampland in Tucson to sell you) was kicked to the curb because we just weren't hungry so we had a plate of munchies along with a bowl of leftover soup.
Tonight it's oyster night at the Salty Dawg, so I won't be cooking again. Oh dear! Should I be feeling guilty?
No don't feel guilty. You are on vacation and deserve a break. Happy Canada Day to everyone!

That view is worth getting up for - a good cup of coffee a nice pup and perhaps a big guy for company and that to look at - recipe for bliss that is for sure!!!! I would love a nice stroll on the cool beach with the pups - now that is a relaxing thought. - Love the photo of the girl laughing - that is true Americana!!!!! I don't blame you one bit for not feeling guilty - you cook so consistantly throughout the year - enjoy your vacation! - More jolie photos of the restaurant goodies, please!!!!!
