If a once wild untrusting feral cat named Georgie and a little mini schnauzer named Max...
can teach each other love, tolerance, acceptance and forgiveness
and find common ground, then why can't we?
politics, religion or ethnicity matter not...to them.
AMEN! I feel the love! It took about 5 months for the peace accord to happen here after we introduced the Rescue lab Rita - but it happened - with no blood shed! And now when I wake up it is to a bed full of love!

Georgie looks somewhat like my Minou who was also feral!

Lea - I don't know what's happened to our Georgie, but morning cuddles in bed have become much longer the last 2 mornings. She's still an outside cat who rules the back yard, but in the morning has coffee in bed with all of us...and really doesn't want to leave.

They are simply adorable...

Thank you MaryBeth. They love each other so much and it is such fun to watch them together. She "adopted" Max long before she'd even let us anywhere near her.

June, your photos and accompanying captions should be printed in newspapers throughout the world. Only when people try to understand and accept each other and their differences will we ever hope to be able to live peacefully on this earth!

Thanks Sophia.
Carol - so GREAT to hear from you. Thank you! I'm afraid canuck me with my idealism is feeling a tad out of place at the moment.

So cute! How Max and Georgie sit together is soo comforting! Too bad we don't see that more often in our lives!

Mac does look a lot like his mother. Very nice pictures - I wish my dog liked cats but the two cats like each other and often times share the same basket.

Georgie's a kick and they are so fun together...most of the time. She did the tour all around the neighborhood this morning. We might have to put her on a leash. Ha.
