I know I’ve said this
all before but yesterday went by in a flash. We worked out, had a huge
breakfast cooked by the big guy, then hit Yachats Library to return some books
followed by a coffee at the Green Salmon. Hey – they make absolutely the best
coffee on the coast never mind their baked goods, but we were so full from
breakfast not even the Maple Walnut Danish looked particularly enticing.
After a leisurely hour
spent people watching, we took a long walk on the beach at Governor Patterson
Park just South of Waldport. Although the usual morning clouds made it kind of
a moody, windy walk not even Max could complain about overcrowding. It is
absolutely glorious! Yes that's the Maxer dawg and yours truly. We love this uncrowded place and dream of a house overlooking this beach, but alas even with the economic downturn, we'd have to rob a trillion banks to afford it. The good news is we can all use the beach for free! Bonus eh!
As for dinner, I’ve
nothing to report because we didn’t have one – we ate a late lunch of chili
dogs, chips and salsa after our two hour nap and we weren’t hungry for
dinner. Even people that live to eat
have to draw the line sometimes.
But we have to be honest - we may not have had dinner but we did have an adult beverage or two. :-)
