Friday nights always lean towards the ultra casual round here. We celebrate the end of the week with a libation and make plans for the weekend, which usually includes some kind of honey do list for the big guy. Poor him!
To ease the transition into his handyman role (aka butter him up) I cooked up a mess of chicken wings just the way he likes 'em - lots of crispy goodness on the outside and juicy tender on the inside. This particular version has the drumettes dipped in a mixture of butter, egg and mustard, then dredged in panko crumbs loaded up with parmesan cheese and an assortment of spices including garlic, cumin and smoked paprika. Download Crispy Parmesan Chicken Wings The wings are baked in a hot oven for 35 minutes but only after sitting in the fridge for an hour to set the coating. That worked just lovely because it gave us enough time to relax and enjoy our drinks.
Served along with some packaged coleslaw all "duded" up with pineapple, dried cranberries, sweet onion and walnuts, dinner was tasty and clean up a breeze. Just ask the big guy - that was the first item on his honey do list.
how could he not want to do whatever you have on the list after this fine feast? Got my cheese from Washington State - just waiting for William to get home to crack open a can!!!!

Now that I'm off babysitting detail, I'll have a couple of whatever you were drinking before you ate that delicious meal. In fact, I think that drinks will actually be dinner tonight...LOL

Hey I've missed you bunches! I'll bet you're exhausted and a couple of stiff drinks are mandatory. Wish I could send you dinner!

Tee,hee. They're just as crispy as deep fried without the mess (or the calories).
