It's true you know. You never know what you're going to get. In our case it has more of a "pit" flavor at the moment. Our little Maxer's having an allergic reaction to being bitten by some desert thing which has meant a late night trip to emergency and a dog driven half nuts by hives, red skin, itching, scratching and a slew of water blisters under his tongue. He's been running about as if on speed although at the moment he's a little quieter due to a dose of Benadryl.
To top it off, we've a dinner party planned for tonight, tons of food to cook along with a house guest to entertain, all on the 4 hours of sleep the big guy forced upon me when he got up to take care of the dog so I could get some zzz's. Needless to say he's gotta' be pretty darn tired too, except that he's on a bit of a caffeine high at the moment.
So what am I gettin' at, you ask? Well there was no dinner last night so there's nothing to post. I've a breakfast casserole that'll be going in the oven at some point, so if I get a chance I'll give you a visual of that, otherwise see you here tomorrow with a full report on tonight's menu and pics of same.
Happy Sunday everyone. If you've the opportunity for heavens sake, enjoy your peaceful existence - that is assuming you have one. You just never know what's coming your way. Insert whine here.
(((BIG HUGS))) to you hon. So sorry to hear about Max not feeling well again. Hope you can catch a nap before your dinner party.

That's our Maxer Dawg Mags. Sometimes I'd just like to send him back, but then he makes me laugh and it's all OK till the next time and I feel guilty for feeling that way. Not unlike kids I would imagine, never having had the pleasure. LOL
