Happiness means different things to different people but I know there's no happier place for us than here on the Oregon coast. Our days are filled plum full with blissful moments and lots of laughter.
Here's a few examples:
There's beauty everywhere you look - here's the Waldport Bridge from across the bay. The Big Guy's clammin' honey hole is under this bridge somewhere (he isn't sayin' exactly where).
Happiness for us is not having to cross a sand bunker to get to the door (this is not our cottage).
Happiness in this case is having a bobcat to clear that sand.
Happiness is... a trip to the farmers' market for fresh picked beets to roast and lettuce for salad, and
...a perfectly grilled steak for Sunday dinner
The ultimate happiness is...
sharing it all with the ones you love. This is our HOT sunny kitchen at 8:15 at night while we wait for the sun to go down.
You guys could not be happier, eh? I just noticed with the sunglasses - Maxer and the Big Guy have the same exact moustache! What a lucious looking salad - oh my! those beets!!! - I had to buy some at Whole foods last week that were organic and perfect! I see the Big Guy has officially mastered your grill! Nice!

Yup - they share a similar mustache and we all have grey hair. How 'bout that! The beets were amazing and the lettuce - it's one of the many things that suffers from Tucson's heat, so definitely appreciated here...and so fresh. Picked the same day we bought it. Imagine!
